Famous Psychics

For some people, trying out psychic abilities can be a hobby or a way of having fun.

Nostradamus is thought to have been the most powerful psychic ever. He predicted that Henry II, the King of France would die in a cruel manner. The prophecy was ignored despite countless warnings to the King. In the end, Nostradamus’ prediction came through. In addition, Nostradamus predicted the 1966 fire of London a year before it happened.  Many of his outstanding quatrains clearly explain future world tragedies, including the assassination of John and Robert Kennedy.  The Kennedy assassinations were predicted hundreds of years before The Kennedys were born!

Psychics don’t just predict the future. Some psychics are able to cure disease. Edward Cayce, one of America’s most famous psychics, was nicknamed “the sleeping prophet.”  He was known for diagnosing illnesses and prescribing remedies while in a trance.  People claimed that his psychic power healed Cayce never attended medical school or studied any form of medicine.

A great, modern day master of psychic reading is Sylvia Browne.  She is most noted for her psychic talent and her great counseling ability. She has done extensive research on parapsychology.  In the early years of her life, she had shared her psychic gift with her family. She eventually became very well- known for her ability to help people foresee the future. Not wanting to put her gift to a waste, she formed a non- profit organization, The Nirvana Foundation for Psychic research, to use her gift to help many people find deeper spiritual meaning  in their lives.

Psychics have often experienced a great amount of disrespect. However, lately being a psychic is seen more and more as a fashionable profession. Psychics often use their abilities to try to improve the lives of others. Many people are interested in psychic readings, especially by well-known psychics, who they find interesting and convincing.
